Secretary General of Muslim World League Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul-Mohsen Al-Turki received today at his office here, the Ambassador of the Republic of Niger to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Moulay Hassan. During the meeting, they reviewed issues of common interest between the Muslim World League and the Republic of Niger, particularly the cooperation in the implementation of the recommendations of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY's) on Islamic Education in West Africa, organized by the League in the city of Niamey. The Ambassador highlighted the needs of educational institutions and private Islamic schools in Niger, expressing his country's desire to continue cooperation with MWL and its affiliated bodies. He commended the works carried out by the MWL in areas of dissemination of Islamic culture and spread of the teaching of Arabic language in the countries of the continent of Africa, noting that colleges and institutes in the Islamic Republic of Niger are seeking to graduate competent and educated people of Africa to be qualified for the teaching of Arabic language and Islamic sciences.
