UK Soldier Dies in Afghanistan Blast

Britain's Ministry of Defense says a soldier has been killed by an explosion in Afghanistan, as AP reported.
The ministry said Sunday that the soldier was fatally injured on Saturday when a bomb exploded near the Nahr-e Saraj district of Helmand Province.
The soldier's name wasn't immediately released. He was a member of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 5th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland.
