Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali has condemned the bombing which targeted the Egyptian city of Alexandria and led to the killing of many innocent people. In a cable to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, he stressed Tunisia's solidarity with Egypt in this painful circumstance and adherence to the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence between peoples and faiths. He also renewed Tunisia's rejection of terrorism in all its forms and motives, and invited the international community to unite efforts in order to combat this dangerous phenomenon that threatens the pillars of security and peace in the world.
