Muslim World League's Islamic Fiqh has issued two statements on the representation of prophets and inheritance of women at the end of a recent meeting. This was announced by Secretary General of Muslim World League Dr. Abdullah Bin Turki who said the Academy prohibited depictions of the prophet Mohammed peace be upon him and the rest of the apostles and prophets and the companions may Allah be pleased with them. The Islamic Fiqh Academy also issued a statement in which it explained that it discussed what was raised in some Muslim countries on issuing regulations concerning the inheritance of women to be inconsistent with the Islamic Sharia. The statement said all Muslims should abide by Islam adding that issuing of regulations and laws concerning the inheritance of women to be inconsistent with the provisions of the law is religiously forbidden and a clear violation of Allah's law.
