Oil prices hovered near $91 a barrel Tuesday in Asia, the Associated Press reported. Benchmark oil for February delivery rose 5 cents to $91.05 a barrel late afternoon Singapore time in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The contract fell 51 cents to settle at $91 on Monday. In other Nymex trading in January contracts, heating oil was steady at $2.52 a gallon, gasoline futures fell 0.2 cent to $2.42 a gallon and natural gas dropped 3.1 cents to $4.08 per 1,000 cubic feet. In London, Brent crude fell 12 cents to $93.73 a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange.
