The refinery will process Arabian Heavy crude oil to produce ultra-high-quality refined products to meet the most stringent global product specifications.
As a full-conversion refinery, it will maximize the production of diesel and gasoline with by-products of sulfur and petroleum coke.
With the award of a majority of the construction contracts, the refinery is scheduled for startup in 2014.
