An Afghan policeman says at least three people have been killed and more than a dozen wounded in a car bomb attack in the center of the southern city of Kandahar. Noor Mohammed, a policeman guarding a branch of Kabul Bank in the center of the city, said a car exploded near the bank and a police compound at around noon Monday. He said he saw at least three bodies and more than 12 people wounded, according to a report of the Associated Press. Police and security guards from nearby buildings and compounds took the casualties to hospital, he said.
