The Shoura Council held here today a session presided over by chairman of the council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Alsheikh. The Shoura Council expressed jubilation and happiness for Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's recovery and discharge from hospital and congratulated Deputy Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the royal family and the entire Saudi people on this occasion. The Shoura Council also hailed the new budget as the budget of development. During the session, the council approved a draft amendment to the agreement on establishment of a joint committee between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Syrian Arab Republic. The Council also approved a draft memorandum of understanding on the strategic dialogue between the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States and the People's Republic of China. The Council also approved a draft agreement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of Tunisia on avoidance of double taxation. In addition, the Council approved a draft memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the peaceful use of outer space between the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). The Council also discussed the annual report of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund for the fiscal year 1430/1431H.
