The 27th session of the Council of Arab Housing and Construction Ministers was held here today under the chairmanship of Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Qusaibi, the Minister of Economy and Planning and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Public Authority for Housing of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At the opening ceremony, Al-Qusaibi delivered a speech in which he highlighted the issues on the Council's agenda, particularly bridging the gap between population needs and the available supply of housing. He also stressed the importance of holding conferences on housing, namely the International Arab Conference on Housing and Construction Sustainability currently held in Egypt.
