Pakistan's ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Jamil Ahmed Khan on Wednesday called on ruler of Ras Al-Khaimah, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al-Qasimi at his Palace and sought collaboration with Pakistan in the areas of trade and industry. Ambassador Jamil Khan told The Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) on telephone that the Ras Al-Khaimah ruler during the meeting expressed his keen interest in promoting cooperation with Pakistan in terms of procurement of men and material, acknowledging the value of its human capital and natural resources. The ambassador said the ruler also appreciated the idea of creating state-of-the-art trade free zone and an investment authority for Pakistan, catering for major sectors of industries in the UAE and African countries. The Ruler extended offer to facilitate Pakistani business community in producing value added products for their re-export to Africa and beyond, the ambassador added.
