A militant faction in Nigeria's restive oil-producing Niger Delta said on Saturday it had attacked oil facilities operated by U.S. energy firm Chevron and Italian oil company Agip, according to Reuters. The Niger Delta Liberation Force (NDLF) said in an emailed statement that it had struck three flow stations in Delta state on Friday using remotely activated bombing devices. There was no immediate confirmation from the companies or the government.
