Moroccan Minister of Employment and Vocational Training Jamal Aghmani opened here today "The Regional Conference on Social Dialogue in Arab States", which is organized by the Arab Labour Organization and the International Labour Organization in cooperation with the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training of the Kingdom of Morocco. The opening ceremony was attended by Saudi Minister of Labour Eng. Adel bin Mohammed Faqih and a number of Arab Ministers of Labor. Saudi Minister of Labour Eng. Adel bin Mohammed Faqih, who is leading Saudi delegation to the three-day Conference, arrived in Rabat last night, where he was received by Moroccan Minister of Employment and Vocational Training Jamal Aghmani and a number of officials. The Regional Conference on Social Dialogue seeks to establish commitment among the social partners to tripartism principles and modalities of work toward the institutionalization of social dialogue mechanisms in the Arab States region; survey regional and global experiences in promoting social dialogue in order to identify best practice and lessons learned; and develop a participatory action plan for social dialogue in the Arab States region.
