Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his palace in Riyadh this evening Hadi bin Mohammed bin Farhan Al Farhan Al-Gahtani, a Saudi national, who announced before Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz pardoning the killer of his son Rashed bin Hadi Al-Gahtani. Hadi Al-Gahtani was accompanied by his son Mohammed. At the outset of the meeting, Al-Gahtani expressed pleasure of the success of the surgical operation the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has undergone in New York recently, wishing him quick recovery and good health. He also congratulated Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on coming back safe. Before Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Al-Gahtani announced pardoning Saeed bin Shae bin Qasem Al-Gahtani, the killer of his son Rashed bin Hadi Al-Gahtani, without any reward. For his part, Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques thanked Al-Gahtani for his humanitarian deed, appealing to Allah Almighty to bestow his rewards on him. The audience was attended by senior protocol officials.
