Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Oleg Ozerov has lauded his country's relations with the Kingdom, describing these relations as developing and accelerating especially in the economic field, asserting that Russian President Dmitry Medvedev encouraged the development of relations between the two countries. In a press statement, Ozerov welcomed the Saudi companies and investors in Russia, saying "The Saudi investors and companies are welcomed and the doors are open for them.. Saudi participation would be very desirable, especially in the implementation of a lot of infrastructure projects which will be announced by his country within its readiness to host the World Cup soccer in 2018".
