KFUPM, JPI and JCCP - continued their untiring efforts to hold the symposium consistently for the last twenty years. The result of such perseverance is clearly noticeable." During the last twenty years, more than 400 talented speakers from Saudi Arabia, Japan and others presented their research papers and held discussions on their research outcome. Each one of them has shared his unique conclusions and all participants benefitted both from exchanging the technical knowledge as well as by establishing the vital person-to-person links. As the importance of the symposium grew, participation from Saudi researchers and international experts also increased. Participation of R&D (Research and Development) personnel from Saudi industrial giants - Saudi Aramco and SABIC - and has been a great source of encouragement. On his part, Morihiro Yoshida, Managing Director of Japan Cooperation Center, Petroleum (JCCP) said that he strongly believes that this symposium will prove to be significantly meaningful and practical, and hope that this symposium be a great success. And I hope that through conducting these projects and symposium, we will dedicate to tighten the friendship between KFUPM and JCCP as well as that between Saudi Arabia and Japan. --MORE
