Hijjah 28, 1431, Dec 4, 2010, SPA -- Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah Province, received here today Makkah's Mayor Dr Osama Bin Fadhel Al-Bar and a number of officials. The Mayor said the meeting dealt with the establishment of a local network of trains in Makkah, and noted that the work is under way to link the Project of Mashaer Train with Al-Harameen Train which is expected to enter service in 1433H. "The initial cost of the first phase of the project of a local network of trains is SR 8 billion including linking Al-Mashaer Train with Al-Harameen Train with a length of 12 kilometers and the execution of this phase will be within two and a half years," he added.
