Hijjah 24, 1431/Nov. 30, 2010, SPA -- Qassim Chamber of Commerce and Industry held here today an open meeting with French Ambassador to the Kingdom Bertrand Besancenot, in the presence of Vice Chairman of the Chamber Fahd bin Ibrahim Al-Ayiri and a number of businessmen in the Province. In the beginning of the meeting, the Secretary General of the Chamber Dr. Faisal bin Abdulkareem Al-Khamis welcomed the French Ambassador and accompanying delegation, who was briefed on the Province capabilities and investment opportunities that may furinsh the basis for commercial and economic cooperation between the two countries. On his part, the French Ambassador thanked the Chamber for organizing such a meeting with businessmen, noting that French exports to Saudi Arabia totalled three billion Euros, while Saudi exports to France reached four billion Euros. -- SPA
