Hijjah 23, 1431 / Nov. 29, 2010, SPA -- Deputy Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet session held at Al-Yamamah Palace here today. At the outset of the session, Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz reassured everyone about the health of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, saying that he is doing extremely well. Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz thanked Allah Almighty for the successful surgery the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques underwent, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow on the King continued good health and wellbeing wishing him a speedy recovery and safe return to the homeland. The members of the Cabinet extended congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on the success of the surgery, praying to Allah Almighty to bless him. The Deputy Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques welcomed Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Commander of the National Guard, as a new Member of the Cabinet, wishing him all success. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja said the Cabinet reviewed a number of reports on the developments at Arab and international arenas. On the occasion of the World Day for Solidarity with the Palestinian People that falls on Monday November 29th, the Cabinet renewed the Kingdom's firm and historical stances towards the Palestinian cause at all levels since the reign of late King Abdulaziz Al Saud to the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Palestinian cause has been a top priority for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which made many peaceful initiatives to resolve the Arab-Israeli conflict and restore Palestinian rights.
