Hijjah 23, 1431, Nov 29, SPA -- South Korea's President Lee Myung-bak vowed Monday tough consequences for any future aggression by North Korea. In a nationally televised speech, he expressed outrage over the «ruthlessness of the North Korean regime.» «Only a few meters away from where (North Korean) shells landed, there is a school where classes were going on,» Lee said. «I am outraged by the ruthlessness of the North Korean regime, which is even indifferent to the lives of little children.» «If the North (Korea) commits any additional provocations against the South (Korea), we will make sure that it pays a dear price without fail,» Lee was quoted as saying by the Associated Press. «I feel deeply responsible for failing to protect my people's lives and property,» Lee said.
