Hijjah 17, 1431, Nov 23, 2010, SPA -- King Fahd University of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (KFUPM) and Rosen Inspection signed recently a contract for establishing and operating a Centre for Researches & the Development of Supporting Technologies at the University. President of the University Dr. Khalid S. Al-Sultan represented KFUPM while CEO- Rosen Co. Hermann Rosen represented his company at the official ceremony of signing the contract. Khalid Al-Buainain, senior Vice President for Refining & Marketing at Saudi Arabian Oil Co. "Saudi Aramco", Vice Rector, Technology Development & Industrial Relations Dr. Faleh Abdullah Al-Sulaiman and a number of KFUPM and Saudi Aramco officials attended the event. The Centre will assume the responsibility for following up on Rosen's activities relating to the latest electronics technology, sensors devices, robotic technology systems required for the services of the Inspection Dept. and the examination of materials such as power lines, trestles, oil pipelines and other related petroleum resources. --MORE
