Tuwaijri said the signing of this contract emanates from the Ports Authority's keenness to support the export of petrochemical products of the industrial city and providing sites for logistic services. He added that the leased area is of special significance for SABIC as it is close to the general cargo berths as well as liquid cargo berths meaning that it is near to the company's production centers in Yanbu. He noted that this situation will ease the handling of solid and liquid petrochemicals shipments either for storing or export in containers a matter which will reduce storing and shipment costs. --MORE
