One Dead, Seven Injured in Factory Blast in North China

Hijjah 14, 1431 / Nov. 20, 2010, SPA -- One worker was killed and seven injured in a chemical factory blast at 7:10 p.m. Saturday in north China's Shanxi Province, said local authorities.
The explosion occurred at Yushe chemical plant in Jinzhong City, Xinhua quoted the provincial government as saying in a statement.
Rescue is underway, it said. No other details were immediately known.
