Hijjah 13, 1431H, Nov 19, 2010, SPA -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Energy Minister Mohammed bin Dhaen Al-Hamli has held meetings with senior Turkmenistan's officials to discuss avenues of cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy. At the meetings with Turkmenistan's Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for Oil & Gas Bayrammyrat Hojamuhammedow and Minister of Oil & Gas Industry & Mineral Resources Bayramgeldi Nedirow, on the sidelines of the 15th Turkmenistan International Oil & Gas Conference 2010, currently held in Ashgabat, the UAE Minister reaffirmed his country's leadership's desire in bolstering relations with Turkmenistan. "Moreover, the UAE companies are prepared to take part in the development of Turkmenistan's energy sector. Big UAE companies such as Mubadala Development Company and Masdar are already carrying out projects to boost Turkmenistan's oil and gas and renewable energy production capacities," he was quoted as saying by the UAE news agency "WAM" reported.
