Hijjah 11, 1431 / Nov. 17, 2010, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has received a letter from Prince Badr bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Commander of the National Guard, requesting to be relieved of his post, citing health situation.
In his plea, Prince Badr bin Abdulaziz gave an account on his long-serving period as second man of the National Guard, citing his loyalty to the King and dedication to the work of this prestigious organization.
He requested the King to accept his apology not to able to proceed with work any more due to his health situation which he described as well-known to the King.
