Prince Nawaf bin Faisal attends the opening ceremony of Asian Games

Hijjah 06, 1431 H/Nov. 12, 2010, SPA -- In presence of Wen Jiabao, Prime Minister of the Republic of China and a number of leaders of the Asian countries, the 16th Asian Games was opened here earlier today.
The ceremony was attended by Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Deputy General President of Youth Welfare, Vice-President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee and Head of Mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Asian Games 2010 hosted by the Chinese city of Guangzhou.
In a statement following the ceremony, Prince Nawaf bin Faisal wished success to the Saudi sports men participating in the Asian Games and to appear in an honorable performance befitting the status and reputation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in these games.
