Hijja 1431 H. / 9 November 2010, SPA -- Jordanians voted Tuesday in parliamentary elections that saw a 53 percent participation rate among the registered for vote amounting to 2,370,000 female and male voters, the Ministry of Interior said in a statement. Informed sources in Amman said results are expected within the coming few hours. Seven hundred and 63 candidates run for 120 seats, including the 12 additional seats allocated for women.
