Afghanistan's Foreign Minister Confirms Saudi Arabia's Important Role in Peace Process in His Country

Hijjah 01, 1431 H/Nov. 07, 2010, SPA -- Afghanistan's Foreign Minister Zalmai Rassoul
asserted that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has an important role in the peace process in Afghanistan and the Afghan Government will continue to demand the support of Saudi Arabia.
In a press conference held following his talks with his Egyptian counterpart here today, he said: "it is too early now to talk about our stance on what was reported on the stoppage of the Saudi reconciliation efforts between the Afghan government and Taliban".
