Qa'dah 25, 1431, Nov 02, 2010 (SPA) -- Under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, the UAE Ministry of Finance (MoF) will hold "Gulf Common Market (GCM): From Cooperation to Integration" seminar on November 07, 2010. The seminar will shed the light on GCM opportunities and challenges and furthers UAE strategy to enhance financial relations with Arab and foreign countries with a view to encourage investment and economic development. It is in harmony with efforts exerted to secure the sustainable development of the GCM, according to a report of the UAE news agency "WAM." The keynote address will be delivered by Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs followed by the speech of Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC). The seminar will be attended by a number of GCM strategic partners from the GCC, representatives of ministries, agencies and local departments. Other participants include representatives from universities, chambers of commerce and industry and the largest businesses in UAE.
