Hillary Clinton Congratulates Bahrain on Success of Election

Qa'dah 24, 1431, Nov 01, 2010, SPA -- US Secretary of State Mrs. Hillary Rodham Clinton congratulated the government and people of Bahrain on the success of its parliamentary and municipal elections, which concluded last Friday, (October 30, 2010).
"Voter turn-out was robust at approximately 67% and we understand that the voting procedures were peaceful," Mrs. Clinton was quoted as saying by Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
She praised the elections considering them a step forward in the right track.
