Qa'dah 24, 1431/Nov 01, 2010, SPA -- The Vice President of the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Head of the Saudi Side at Saudi-Chinese Joint Business Council Abdulrahman Al-Jeraisey has commended strong relations between Saudi Arabia and China in all fields, especially economic and trade spheres, stressing that the strength of these relations has been derived from close ties between the leaderships of the two countries. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the conclusion of the meetings of the Council in Riyadh on Sunday, he said, "It is possible to reach the strategic goal of $ 60 billion in economic and trade cooperation with China within the next four years when business sectors in the two countries work for this achievement''. Al-Jeraisey noted that he had heard from Chinese ambassador to Saudi Arabia Yang Honglin during yesterday's meeting his confirmation of an increase in trade exchanges between Saudi Arabia and China by about 43% to exceed more than SR 31.6 billion during nine months of this year.
