Qa'dah 23, 1431, Oct 31, 2010, SPA -- Bahrain's Oil and Gas Affairs Minister Dr Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza has returned home, wrapping up a three day visit to Moscow, where he held talks with senior Russian officials. "The key visit follows the line set by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to promote cooperation between Bahrain and Russia," Dr Mirza, who is also Chairman of the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) said in a statement yesterday. He cited the Bahraini King's landmark visit to Russia in December 2008, which yielded positive dividends. The Noga signed then a letter of intent with Russian giant Gazprom. Dr Mirza's visit followed an invitation from Russian first deputy Premier Viktor Zubkov. --MORE
