Qa'dah 22, 1431, Oct 30, 2010, SPA -- Prince Mohammad Ibn Nawaf Ibn Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland, and Jeremy Browne, British Minister of State at the Foreign Office, opened a ceremony to inaugurate the start of works of the British Hajj mission for the season 1431H. Speaking on the occasion, Prince Mohammad Ibn Nawaf expressed his happiness to participate in the ceremony to inaugurate the start of the British Hajj mission to the Holy places in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj this year. "There are more than 50,000 out of One Million British Muslims performing Hajj or Umrah every year," he said. On his part, Jeremy Browne expressed his thanks to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the services and facilities provided to the pilgrims. Browne said the British side will work along with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all fields that would facilitate and ease the performance of Hajj by the British Muslims. The ceremony was attended by a number of Islamic and Arab Ambassadors to the United Kingdom.
