Qaeda 1431 H. / 26 October 2010, SPA -- Qatar's Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al-Kawari, welcomed visiting Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Arab ministers in charge of cultural affairs who are scheduled to take part in the 17th conference for Arab ministers in charge of cultural affairs. In a statement to SPA, Al-Kawari lauded the cultural cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, calling for more coordination to achieve better results in the service of Arab and Islamic culture. He underscored the importance of Doha meeting coming as a prelude to Sirte, Libya, conference for Arab Cultural summit. He described the gathering of Arab cultural ministers in Doha today as historical and a source of pride to Qatar. He lauded the political will and vision of Arab leaders on the importance of culture and its role in the world. He gave an account on the agenda of the meeting.
