Qa'dah 15, 1431, Oct. 23, 2010, SPA -- Saudi Embassy in Iran participated in bidding farewell to the first batch of Iranian pilgrims, who left on Thursday night. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Saudi Ambassador to Iran Mohammed bin Abbas Al-Qilabi pointed out that in implementation of the directives of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud and the follow-up of Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Saudi embassies and consulates seek to provide all facilities to pilgrims from all countries around the world, including Iranian pilgrims. He noted that the Saudi Embassy in Iran is in the process of completing the issuance of 94,000 visas, as Iran's quota, for Iranian pilgrims.
