Farsi, the Minister of Hajj, who will take part in a round table debate on the fringes of the conference, confirmed the keenness of the Saudi government to provide the utmost comfort for pilgrims. He lauded the developmental projects in all fields for the provision of comprehensive services for the pilgrims and visitors of the two holy mosques of Makkah and Madinah as well as the holy places on the outskirts of Makkah. Dr. Osamah Al-Barr, Mayor of Makkah city, underscored the importance of the conference on the eve of this year's Hajj season. For his part, Minister of Health of Lebanon Dr. Mohammed Jawad Khalifa said the convening of the conference reflects the Arab, regional and international interest in Saudi Arabia's experience of running massive assemblies, lauding the considerable capabilities of the Kingdom put at the disposal of pilgrims. Dr. Abdulkareem Yahya, Minister of Public Health and Housing of Yemen, noted that the conference attracts experts to discuss this important issue with Saudi authority, considering Saudi Arabia as a leading country in this field.
