Qa'dah 13, 1431 / Oct. 21, 2010, SPA -- Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia intends to establish a national center for Energy Conservation at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. Prince Abdulaziz announced the news on the sidelines of International Energy Symposium organized by the Saudi Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). The symposium was concluded yesterday. During his chairmanship of the first session under the title "Relations among OPEC and other International Organizations" yesterday, he stressed the importance of dialogue between producers and consumers of oil and gas as well as a constructive discussion among OPEC, International Energy Agency and the General Secretariat of the International Energy Forum in order to ensure oil supplies and price stability.
