Qa'dah 12, 1431, Oct 20, 2010, SPA -- The Speaker of Saudi Majlis Al-Shura Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh and the accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to Spain, met here today with the President of the Spanish Senate Javier Rojo. During the meeting, Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh praised the significant role played by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud and Spain's King Juan Carlos to strengthen relations between the two countries in various fields, noting that the visit comes in continuation of Saudi Arabia's approach to contact with various countries for its interests and the issues of Arab and Islamic nations. On his part, Rojo described Saudi-Spanish ties as distinguished and growing stronger since the exchange of visits between King Juan Carlos and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz, stressing his country's desire for further development of cooperation with Saudi Arabia in economic and parliamentary fields, and highly appreciating its balanced position towards the issues of the region.
