Qaeda 1431 H. / 19 October 2010, SPA -- As part of the GCC Days festival which takes place here and proceeds until Thursday, the Symposium on Economic and Commercial Cooperation between GCC and the United Kingdom, concluded in the British capital of London today. Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Ambassador of Kuwait, Khalid Al-Dwaisan, who is also dean of Arab diplomatic corps accredited to the United Kingdom, also attended the event. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah, Secretary General of the GCC; Henry Paling ham, Secretary of State for Economic Affairs of the United Kingdom; Dr. Hameedah Jassem Buhsein, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Bahrain; Dr. Haytham bin Mohammed Al-Ghassani, Director of Touristy Promotion to the Ministry of Tourism of the Sultanate of Oman; Nicolas Armor, Director General for the United Kingdom's Commission for Commerce and Investment; Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, Deputy Managing Director for Legal Affairs with Kuwait's Petroleum Foundation; Khalid Al-Hatmi, Director of Gas Development, an affiliate of Qatar Petroleum Foundation; and David Green of the British Council for Sustainable Energy addressed the symposium. The symposium was attended by ambassadors of the GCC countries, a number of British government officials, Dr. Afnan Al-Shoaibi, Secretary General and Executive Chief Officer for the Arab British Chamber of Commerce and Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for External Information.
