Qa'dah 8, 1431 H/Oct 16, 2010, SPA -- First Jordan Festival for Arab Media (JFAM) 2010 organized by the Jordanian Audiovisual Commission kicked off its activities here today with the participation of delegations representing a number of Arab countries including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Engineer Saleh Almoghileth, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for TV Affairs is led the Kingdom's delegation to JFAM. On the occasion, the three-day long festival honored Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Information and Culture, awarding him the prize of the "Man of Festival" in recognition of his efforts in the service of the Arab Media's message. Engineer Almoghileth received the prize on behalf of the Minister Dr. Khoja. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Engineer Almoghileth stressed the importance of JFAM and its role in promoting cooperation among Arab countries in all fields of media and expressed appreciation of the management of the festival over its decision to honor the Minister of Culture and Information as the Man of the Festival.
