Qa'dah 06, 1431 H/Oct 14, 2010, SPA -- Currently on a visit to China, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsin Al-Turki, Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and head of its accompanying delegation met here today with the representatives of the followers of religions and cultures in China. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Turki made clear that the final stages of building King Abdullah International Center for Dialogue are currently being implemented, pointing out that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has called for his initiative for dialogue when he saw that there are common issues among the followers of religions and cultures. He stressed that MWL adopted the initiative of King Abdullah for dialogue among followers of religions and cultures, and contacted the Islamic nation' scholars and thinkers to meet and develop a strategy for dialogue and cooperation with different religions and cultures around the world. Dr. Al-Turki also hailed the freedom of belief and the multiplicity of cultures and religions given to the citizens in China.
