Qa'da 03, 1431, Oct 11, SPA -- International vote monitors have hailed Kyrgyzstan's parliamentary election, saying it was marked by political pluralism that further entrenched democracy in the Central Asian nation. The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe's election-monitoring arm said Monday the poll offered voters a genuine choice. According to an incomplete count of Sunday's ballot, five parties appear to have won seats in parliament. Under recent changes to the constitution, the newly empowered parliament will now have the right to approve a government and appoint a prime minister, according to a report of the Associated Press.
