Qa'dah, 1431, Oct 10, SPA -- A customs official says Pakistan has reopened a key border crossing used by NATO to ship supplies into Afghanistan. Ataur Rehman said the first few vehicles traveled through the Torkham crossing into Afghanistan just after noon Sunday. He said authorities are working to clear hundreds of vehicles to cross into Afghanistan. They have been stranded since Pakistan closed the border to NATO on Sept. 30 in apparent protest of a U.S. helicopter strike that killed two Pakistani soldiers, the Associated Press reported.
