Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, received at his office here today Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs. The audience was attended by Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabr Al Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, and a number of officials. At the outset of the meeting, Prince Saud Al-Faisal conveyed to the Emir of Qatar the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, wishing him continuous health and happiness. For his part, the Emir of Qatar sent his greetings to the monarch, wishing the relations between the two countries every progress and prosperity. During the meeting, the current fraternal relations between the two sisterly counties were reviewed and ways of enhancing them in all fields were discussed, in addition to issues of mutual concern. Later, the Emir of Qatar held a banquet in honor of Prince Saud Al-Faisal and the accompanying delegation. Prince Saud Al-Faisal arrived in Doha earlier today where he was received by Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabr Al Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, and the Saudi ambassador to Qatar Ahmed bin Ali Al-Gahtani.
