Prince Naif Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, who is also President of Supreme Commission of Prince Naif Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud International Award for Prophet's Sunnah and Contemporary Islamic Studies, has approved the formation of new Commission under his chairmanship in its 3rd session as follows: - Prince Saud Ibn Naif Ibn Abdulaziz, Vice President and General Supervisor of the Award, - Prince Mohammed Ibn Naif Ibn Abdulaziz, Deputy General Supervisor, - Prince Abdulaziz Ibn Saud bin Naif Ibn Abdulaziz, Member, - Prince Nawaf Ibn Naif Ibn Abdulaziz, Member, - Prince Mohammed Ibn Saud Ibn Naif Ibn Abdulaziz, Member, - Prince Fahd Ibn Naif Ibn Abdulaziz, Member. The Commission will also include the following prominent scholars and Islamic personalities as members: - Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid, Imam of the Holy Mosque in Makkah and President of the Supreme Council of Magistracy. - Sheikh Abdullah bin Manie, Advisor at the Royal Court, and Member of the Senior Scholar Council, - Dr. Abdullah Nassif, former Deputy Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura, - Dr. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Chairman of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, - Sheikh Asghar Ali Imam, the Secretary General of Ahl Al-Hadith Society in India, - Dr. Abu Bakr Abdullah Dakori, Advisor to Burkina Faso's President, - Dr. Adel Al-Moawdah, Member House of Representatives of Bahrain, - Dr. Saed Al-Orabi Al-Harthi, Advisor to Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, and the Secretary of the Award, - Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Okla, President of the Islamic University, - Dr. Zain Al- Abidin Al-Rikabi, Islamic Thinker and Researcher. Prince Naif expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the former members of the Commission, congratulating new members of the Commission, and wishing them success in the service of Prophet's Sunnah. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Al-Harthi pointed out that this new formation comes in accordance with the regulations to form the Commission with new members for four years to contribute to the development of plans and policy of the Award, approval of its regulations, selection of its topics, and approval of candidates for the Award.
