The bodies of 13 people killed in a bus wreck outside Berlin were carried home to Poland Friday, five days after their homebound coach slammed into a highway bridge, German officials said. Police are still investigating the cause of the Sunday crash, in which the bus reportedly veered out of control after being hit by a car, according to dpa. Officials of Brandenburg state, which surrounds Berlin, said it had been agreed with the Polish embassy to keep the media away when undertakers picked up the bodies and drove them to Poland, and to make the departure public through a press statement afterwards. The collision left 38 people injured. The bus with 49 occupants was carrying Polish holidaymakers who had been in Spain.
