In the morning, the president appears on NBC's "Today Show" to kick off a three-day summit on education hosted by the network. The event, "Education Nation," focuses on the state of education in America. Later in the day, the president plans a conference call with college and university journalists to discuss what steps his administration has taken to address the concerns of young Americans.
