Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Marty Natalegawa said the US-ASEAN summit held in New York had generated some benefits for Indonesia and would not compromise the national interest at the diplomatic relations level. "The summit was held with the intention to serve not only the interest of certain parties but also that of Indonesia," Marty told a press conference in New York Friday. The press conference was attended by Vice-President Boediono, Ambassador to the US Dino Patti Djalal and Kuntoro Mangkusubroto, head of working unit for control and supervision of development (UKP4). They comprised the Indonesian delegation at the US-ASEAN summit which was opened by President Barack Obama.
