Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadeer, Saudi ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan; Arshad Abdullah, Pakistani Minister for Law and Regional Parliamentary Affairs and a number of local Pakistani officials participated today in the distribution process. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Al-Ghadeer said that the Kingdom's embassy in Pakistan cancelled its celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the Kingdom as a sign of solidarity with those affected by floods. For his part, the regional minister Arshad Abdullah expressed thanks of the government and people of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its continued stand by the affected by floods, hailing the Kingdom's generous humanitarian stances towards his country.
