Prince Turki Ibn Sultan Ibn Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Culture and Information has described the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which falls on Thursday, September 23rd, 2010 as a historical, cultural, and humanitarian occasion. He indicated that the Founder - late King Abdulaziz Ibn Abdulrahman Al-Faisal Al Saud was a political leader of the first-class in addition to his strong belief in Allah Almighty and strong religious motivation to uphold the banner of the right, the revival of Islamic values and the application of Islamic Sharia. The Prince pointed out that these values have been adhered to and followed up by the Government led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Sultan Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, and Prince Naif Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of the Interior. Prince Turki noted that the eras of Al Saud Kings have become the epics of continuous developments, recorded great achievements that acquired the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia its right position among advanced and developed countries, and made the Kingdom over the past years a country with great influence on regional and international affairs. He said, ''We have been living in a blessed march in a prosperous era characterized by local achievements, and leading international roles. The march is based on Islamic principles, adherence to national principles and moral and social values, stressing that it is the anniversary of the National Day of the homeland of pride, glory, dignity, security and safety. It is an occasion with historical, cultural and humanitarian contents. " The Prince congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince , the Second Deputy Premier, the royal family , and the noble Saudi people, on this occasion, praying to Allah Almighty for the Kingdom's continuing security, safety and prosperity.
