The Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh said Wednesday that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz, has been a pioneering leader of modernization and reforms. On the occasion of the Kingdom's National Day which falls on Thursday (September 23rd, Dr. Al Al-Sheikh pointed out that the King has remarkable qualities, notably his dedication to the service of his country and citizens in all matters, and in all provinces, in addition to his continuing commitment to update and develop regulations in all fields. He noted that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier has preserved Islamic fundamentals and followed up the path of the Founder late King Abdulaziz Ibn Abdulrahman Al Saud. The Speaker pointed out the King's continuing processes of modernization and reforms included judiciary, economy, administration and human development, municipal councils, education system and modernization of its curriculums, and tackling the crises of housing, employment, and poverty phenomenon. He added that the King has set up the principle of the national dialogue and the culture of dialogue at home and abroad and worked for the protection of human rights in accordance with the basic law which derives its principles from the Holy Quran and Prophet's (PBUH) Sunnah.
